The Best Lake District and Cumbrian Wedding Venues

So, your partner popped the question and you said yes! Huge congratulations, planning your wedding is an exciting (and slightly stressful) time. I’d always recommend looking at booking your venue and getting in touch with your local registrar first – after all, without those being booked there won’t be a wedding!

After that, I’d definitely recommend doing your research and getting in touch with photographers, make-up artists, hairdressers etc – these can book up pretty quickly, especially if you’re getting married on a Saturday or during the busier wedding months.

Aaaanyways! This blog post is about my favourite Cumbrian and Lake District wedding venues, I’ll tell you a little bit about each and why I love them so much. I’ve even popped a few venues in I’ve not photographed yet, so if you’re getting married at one of the venues listed please do get in touch as I’d love to offer a discount for any weddings there.

Three Hills Barn – Torpenhow

I love love love Three Hills Barn! It’s the perfect venue for a rustic barn wedding, you can really dress it up, DIY it and make it your own. You get quite a lot included within their package price (tables and chairs included!) and it has the most beautiful fields surrounding it, perfect for your wedding portraits. The first wedding I ever photographed at Three Hills Barn was a few years ago before it was even a named wedding venue!

The wedding coordinating team do absolutely everything they can for you, they really do go above and beyond. It is a gorgeous venue that you can really make your own.
